Medical Affairs Fellowship

The one-year Medical Affairs Fellowship at BeOne Medicines is an immersive program that offers PharmD graduates a unique opportunity to directly impact the future of cancer care. This dynamic program is designed to cultivate future leaders in the biopharmaceutical industry by providing hands-on training across the core functions of Medical Affairs that drive medical strategy and advance scientific impact.

The fellowship program begins in July 2026 and is conducted remotely with opportunity to travel.

Core Curriculum
& Learning Objectives

Medical Strategy, Planning & Operations

  • Support the development of US Medical Affairs Plans
  • Track tactical execution
  • Engage in budget & resource planning

Evidence Generation & Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs)

  • Understand different phases of clinical trials, RWE & methodologies, study feasibility, & product lifecycle
  • Review IIT proposals
  • Participate in evidence generation planning & execution

Scientific Communications & Publications

  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret clinical trial data
  • Contribute to the development of scientific materials, external medical education strategy & tactics
  • Assist in congress planning & publication strategy

External Stakeholder Engagement (KOLs, HCPs, PAOs)

  • Participate in external stakeholder interactions
  • Understand Field Medical territory planning and field insights collection
  • Understand compliant scientific exchange

Medical Information, Medical & Promo Material Reviews

  • Develop standard response letters (SRLs)
  • Participate in medical & promo material reviews (MRC & PRC)
  • Understand practice guidelines, pathways, data submission & review process

Teaching & Special Project

  • Precept US Medical Affairs Summer Interns through coaching and feedback on projects
  • Facilitate journal clubs and training sessions
  • Complete a special project and present to internal stakeholders and/or at a professional conference

Certification

Graduate of the Fellowship program will receive:

  • A Certificate of Completion
  • A formal Letter of Recommendation

Eligibility & Qualification Criteria

  • A graduate from an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Program
  • Licensed pharmacist or recent pharmacy graduate with a clear intent to obtain licensure immediately post-graduation
  • Strong foundation in Clinical Pharmacy is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated interest in Medical Affairs and the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Interviews
